Kanye At Teyana Taylor Listening Party

Everything Teyana Taylor!

Teyana Taylor hosted a listening session for her debut VII last night in Hollywood. Her G.O.O.D. music boss Kanye West, was in attendance and spoke on the difficulty of getting his protege’s LP a release date. Album hits stores November 4.

“I’ma just go ahead and say what I wanted to say in the first place. Mother—-ers wanted to drop Big Sean, mother—-ers wanted to drop Teyana and mother——ers wanted to drop Pusha. Everybody always wanna be late or mother——in’ drop somebody and sh– and not believe in somebody all the way through. Now, I’m just gonna go ahead and be ‘Ye and they’re gonna put this sh– on ‘E! News’ and try to say I’m a crazy mother—-er and sh–. But, you know what? This is about artistry and fighting for artists to get their visions out, like it says in the name of the label, Getting Out Our Dreams. It’s a collective of mother—-ers who believe in real music and there’s never been someone on the label that has had to take something into her hands quite as much as this girl has had to do. So, I really want y’all to give her her credit for fighting against an entire system…I’m just really proud to see her tonight, dropping her album. We had to fight for this.”

    1. Mr. white says:

Yeezus was dope as fuck! Idk why so many ppl dislike that album, but it def wasn’t his best work. MBDTF is Ye’s best work 2 me. That album is damn near flawless

      1. MegaMan says:

It’s called Innovation. The man got tired of making pop fodder for the masses and made art. Yeezus is the perfect primal version of what Kanye is about. I hope his
next album is even more stripped back, distorted and angry, so I can laugh
as everyone on here cries about needing fodder without substance. This is artistic evolution, nigga!

        1. i respect innovation but keep in mind that music still have to be pleasing to the ears and that was a hard listen

          1. Starpoint feat Renee Diggs says:

How come he get a past with that Auto-Tune Sh*t, And Yeezus was Horrible.

          2. i never give yeezus a pass me and that kid megaman was saying yeezus was a good album and i was it was not a good album

          3. Starpoint feat Renee Diggs says:

I coulda word that better, my bad that wasn’t meant for u, I was agreeing with u. When he put 15 to 20yrs, I’ll be impress, all this inovation, genius. and classic album is a bit of a stretch. IJS.

          4. nah its cool i agree when he puts in that time then he ll be great but if he keeps putting out that type of music like yeezus that wont happen

          5. Starpoint feat Renee Diggs says:

  6. tipp0183 says:

Congrats! She has a great voice, i’ll support it.

  7. K.I. says:

Love or hate Ye (and I’m def a fan), you can’t ever say that he’s not passionate or dgaf about music. His influence on that G.O.O.D. music roster is like their trademark. Just look @ Based on a T.R.U. story, the first one he executive produced, & the 2nd one without him. That 1st one just has a unique quality to it in terms of trap music.

  8. TopNotchN3gro says:

Ummm if memory serves me correct CyHi Tha Prynce came on the label way before Teyana Taylor and Pusha T so what happened there? Where’s his album because Black Hystori was a heavy hitter.

    1. cmonhomiewemajor says:

      he has no personality

      1. TopNotchN3gro says:

Neither did Kid Cudi but that nigga still got on, smh. CyHi has become what Big Sean was before Kanye decided to finally put him on, a ghostwriter to fill up the G.O.O.D. shelf.

  9. Sina Mailer Daemon Djavadkhani says:

I wish YE said that for my album 🙂
