New Music: Wu-Tang Clan “A Better Tomorrow”
November 26, 2014 @ 2:34 PM EST
Song
Wake Up Everybody.
Tomorrow’s never promised. But for now, Meth, Masta Killa, Cappa, and Rae take it one day at a time on their album’s title track inspired by Teddy Pendagrass’s classic. A Better Tomorrow in stores next Tuesday.
dope message with this track, lookin forward to it
Much Needed.
Get it right!!! This is not “Teddy Pendagrass.” He sings on it but, educate the people correctly…Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes.
Yep!
Indeed…
this is some real shit damn im glad the clan is back on their shit but i feel most people these days aint gonna appreciate this
so now they have another song named a better tomorrow
damn i want that new method man album
This is such a dope record! I could care less if today’s generation gets this
me either… this is grown man rap
Love the original song, like some of the lyrics on this song. But this can’t really be it. This is what you get the clan to reform for one last time and do? Does this production sound like Wu? Wu has a signature style, this isn’t it. I’m all for progress and evolution, but this is not “adding on”, this is “subtraction” or “change”. I’m probably going to get the album, Ruckus and Necklace are solid, though not standout tracks. But this is really weak. This must be a joke right? They said they were releasing 3:36 EST, you guys must have jumped the gun on some pre-released track. Say it ain’t so. Probably this is the outro of the album, to play while the credits roll…..
BOO THIS MAN!
Sounds like a happy outro to the clan’s legacy
A Better Tomorrow is grown man raps. The whole album they show they evolved. I see RZA’s vision. Great job RZA. Educate the kids.
Indeed….
word as bond the wu are true soul babies peace to all the kids born in the late 60s and 70s the foundation is still being represented
this is conscious hiphop at its best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Feels like I’m watching American gangster.
meth did a nice intro rap there…m.k had a perfect melody vibe for the beat, Rae was solid as always..
What rapper has the best before the beat drop intro rap…Eminem – Go To Sleep…or Big pun maybe
Yo word is bond, this shit almost had me buss a tear…Deja Vu it’s 92… This is my shit….
the wu has been for the kids since 93
FUCK YOU RZA!!!!
DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!
lol you can’t troll here this ain’t dumb kids making comments
This is really cool, I can’t wait to listen to the whole album all the way through
What’s with the Reverse bit before the 3rd chorus? Someone wana record it and reverse it and let us know?
cosign
dope.. http://alltheparticulars.blogspot.com/
Imagine this on “36 Chambers”
i thought RZA did a great job.. i can understand why some of the wu heads were mad with the new beat selection but i def see what rza said when he said the group grew up.i think itd be corny if they were all tryna rap like they were broke and out..
new sound same lyrics and concept. as a wu head im pleasantly suprised with how fresh and fun this albm was to listen too. even if rae and ghost r stuck in the past and was that boring ass sound theyve done 5-6 times.
Is this album worth the download?
