somewhere in australia, there are very talented artists who can write ground breaking conceptual albums, invent new styles of music, make super stadium anthems, and make breath taking club bangers. they are there just like they are in many other places. there might even be those rare few who can right songs like “imagine” or “blowing in the wind” or “dear mama” or “no woman no cry”. that’s not who iggy is. she doesn’t write many of her rhymes. but she did move to miami at the age of 16 with no real promise of anything other than whatever false promises the streets of miami have to offer tall semi-thick blonde foreign women (of which there are many). she was ballsy enough to come and try, and now, she’s here. possibly more due to tip prizing her as his bottom chick. possibly due to white jesus. either way, she is on peoples choice awards, and not on bangbros. i hate her album. but i’m curious to know what has helped her survive.
