Yesterday afternoon, producer Devo Springsteen called his cousin’s forthcoming album, “inspiring.” Back in December, Ye recited a new verse at the Nokia Theater, then gushed about his new tunes on his blog. If Devo’s review is accurate, it’ll take a nation of millions to hold us back.

Kanye west is the #2 hip hop artist of this decade, one behind 50 Cent.
I’m judging that purely on impact, influence, etc. (*not counting the fact that kanye produces. If that’s added into the equation, of course Kanye is #1… his beats are just, as his cousin said, inspiring.)
