These niggas WASHED dawg and it hurts to admit because I grew up on Killa and the camp.. But that wave done came and gone (No Pun intended). But you wanna know what’s really fucked up, if these niggas would’ve played it smart Hov would probably be retired and they could have a YMCMB like dynasty right now. D-Block was fading, Dmx was cracked out, Loso was an Allstar but never a franchise player (if you get my drift). And Fifty was playing 48 laws of power and trying to eliminate all competitors by beefing despite his relevancy/reign coming to an end. Forget Papoose and Saigon cause they never lived up to the hype and Busta… Well he was on his last leg really. But Dipset on the other hand was killing it. Cam was in his prime, Juelz was supposed to take over NY with debut album the way Weezy did. Capo was hot. Jr Writer was bubbling and MAX BIGGAVELI was a diamond in the rough. They had the streets, Jay Z comeback album had niggas thinking he was old and outdated and new niggas (T.I, Jeezy, Juelz and Weezy) were the present and future stars but greed and envy ruined it all. They could’ve capitalized off all the talent they had and through out NY if they would’ve made power moves but instead Juelz Lazy work ethic, bird gang beef with BIGGAVELI and Cam hot headedness fucked up the business and allowed Hov to regroup and kill the only opportunity Dipset had.. Now these niggas trying to copy G Unit, thirsting for relevancy performing at clubs and shit.. Damn, who could have thought it would turn out like this.. The Fall of NY started in 06!
Man, you might be right. This song right here is why G-unit will always be better than dipset. I enjoyed dipset from 02-04, mixtapes were always on point, but something just isn’t right with them.
