FINALLY.
Jay Z’s catalougue runs deep. And on May 13, he’ll put it to the test with his highly anticipated B-Side concert. Streamed on Tidal.com, the set will include songs Hov has never or rarely performed.
The location is undisclosed and exclusively for TIDAL users. In order to gain access, members must create, name, and share a TIDAL playlist on Twitter using the hashtag, #TIDALXJAYZ. Playlists will be selected on diversity, uniqueness, and sequence.
Submissions begin on April 29 at 7:01 PM and end May 8. The complete set of rules can found here. Welcome to the B-Side.

I don’t think so much of it is hate for Jay-Z as much as the way the media reports it. One example is this post shooting all the way to the top while being new. I understand that many of these sites are New York based and thus have bias towards New York hip hop but forcing a regional agenda on a worldwide medium is pretty lame. Personally, I don’t think Tidal is what people want because most people don’t care about audio quality. It is why we buy Mp3s over CDs and Beats by Dre over better sounding headphones. I
like what they are doing but I don’t think it brings anything new that the mass consumer wants.
