He created an inflationary environment to stimulate the economy, which has resulted in disaster in every single other economy that has implemented this strategy. (See greece, italy, spain, etc.) As soon as the Federal lending rate goes up, there will 100% be another recession, of which might be small or horrendous (history has shown us the latter to be true more often than not). Now compare that to another president. Bill Clinton (1993 – 2001)
Federal Budget Deficit 1990: $223 Billion
Federal Budget 2000: $240.5 Billion (SURPLUS)
Bill Clinton left office with a surplus in the hundreds of billions. So, if you think Obama will go down in history as a great president when his numbers only got worse and one of the first things he did while in office was give billions to the same people that crashed the economy, then you’re either stupid and/or just too misinformed to make heads from tails of all of this.
Yeah and you left out president Bush which was the president between Clinton and Obama. Why did Obama bailout the banks in connection with Wall Street and our overall banking system? Because the american people put money in banks. Their homes, their businesses, their insurances, their retirements, their personal accounts, their investments etc… ALL that is tied up in our banking system. American was losing millions of jobs every two months, the war, our trade deals, our economic collapse, our loss in investments and our banking system were losing money and already costing us trillions of dollars. When Bush left office the gross federal debt was $10.63 trillion dollars and thats with the economy spiraling downward at an incredible pace… To repair that and turn that around (which Obama has done) costed the country more money. Of course it did, thats common sense but Obama making the moves he did, saved tens of millions of people from losing their homes, losing their business, losing their investments and losing almost everything they had worked for during the Clinton era before Bush came in and fucked shit up almost completely.
