Like they do each and every year, XXL has pulled some of this year’s hottest rookies for their 11th annual Freshman Class.
Making the cut for 2018 includes Fort Lauderdale, Florida’s Ski Mask The Slump God, Miami, Florida’s Lil Pump and Smokepurpp, Atlanta, Georgia’s J.I.D, London’s Stefflon Don, Memphis, Tennessee’s BlocBoy JB, Birmingham, Alabama’s YBN Nahmir, West Palm Beach, Florida’s Wifisfuneral, Canton, Ohio’s Trippie Redd and last but not least, Waynesboro, Pennsylvania’s Lil Skies, who opted out for the shoot. The issue hits newsstands on July 3.
In addition, the XXL Freshman Show will take place at New York City’s Terminal 5 on Wednesday, July 11 and then hit Lost Angeles’ The Novo on Thursday, July 19.
YBN Nahmir is the dopest one on the list. Also Stefflon Don may be a problem. Lil Pump looking like a white washed Lil Jon in the middle.
