Long live the Hussle.

Nipsey Hussle’s family, friends and fans gathered together today to celebrate his life and say their final good-byes at his memorial service, Celebration of Life.

Taking place at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, the sold-out funeral included prayers and acknowledgements from his loved ones including his parents, brother, children, Lauren London, colleagues, Minister Louis Farrakhan, Pastor Shep Crawford and more. Musical tributes included performances by Marsha Ambrosias, Anthony Hamilton, Jhene Aiko and Stevie Wonder.

Following the memorial service, a 25-mile procession made its victory lap through the city as thousands of spectators looked on. Nipsey’s hearse made its way through Watts, to Inglewood, and past his Marathon Clothing store before reaching its final destination at the Angelus Funeral home in the Crenshaw district.

On March 31, the Grammy-nominated rapper and community advocate was killed when he was fatally shot outside his Marathon Clothing store on Crenshaw Boulevard and Slauson Avenue. The intersection has since been announced by the L.A. Council to be named “Nipsey Hussle Square”. The marathon continues.
