Drake has just slid to the top of the Billboard charts with his latest single, “Toosie Slide“. The artist becomes the first male artist and the second act overall to achieve three No. 1 debuts in the history of the Billboard 100 singles chart.

The dance-track has spawned countless virals of the dance phenomenon on social media, and has also earned 55.5 million U.S. streams in its first week.

Tying Mariah Carey with three No. 1 debuts (“Fantasy”, “One Sweet Day”, “Honey”), Drizzy’s previous two include “God’s Plan” back on February of 2018 and “Nice For What” soon after in April. Both singles were off his chart-topping album, Scorpion.

“Toosie Slide” also marks Drake’s seventh overall No. 1 song, which follows both his Rihanna features “What’s My Name” and “Work” as well as his solo records “One Dance“, “God’s Plan“, “Nice For What“, and “In My Feelings“. Drake, who is uncredited on Travis Scott’s “SICKO MODE” also hit No. 1.

In addition, Drake has a total of 50 cumulative weeks holding Billboard 100’s No. 1 spot. As the first male solo act to reach this milestone. His 50 weeks ties Boyz II Men as the fifth most overall act trailing Mariah Carey’s 82 weeks, Rihanna who currently holds 60 weeks, and The Beatles with 59 weeks. Congrats to The Boy!
