I can not wait for this album!
the only blemish i can see is the Lil’ Wayne feature… but I know this album is going to be butter. and on another note check out Lil’ Wayne’s new web page… http://a072-web.nyc.gov/inmatelookup/inmateDetailAction.do?bookcasenumber=3491003868
this will be dope just like the highly underrated and under appreciated Untitled – best album of 2008. can’t believe how hip hop slept on Nas with such a clear, concise, concept driven (but never subject repeated) album. that shit was dedicated to niggas world wide, and we act like it was a bust.
no matter, i’ll be copping Distant Relatives too. tangible copies only. best buy do or die, all that shit.
Yes, this album should be fire from what I’ve heard from the two songs out allready.
Also shout out to K’NAAN reppin T.O. And Somalia!!
Well Untitled went Gold so not ever one slept on it…but yes the scared niggas slept for sure!
Dennis Brown!
lets goooooooooooo escoooooooooo
Looking forward to this. Looks like there is a good set of guest artists….I just hope the production holds up.
RE “Untitled” – Yeah, it was a great album. And like Nathaniel said, niggas been sleepin’ on it. Some of the tracks at the end are not as great but its pretty solid. It shits on HHID. I personally think “Fried Chicken” is one of the best songs Nas has done in a minute (from the lyrics to the production).
http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/eraworld/id359589979 BUY NOW!!!
Word nathaniel, I feel u mah g. Untitled > BP3
I didn’t expect to see lil wayne and joss stone on a track with them.
I can’t wait for this to drop tho.
DISTANT RELATIVES = KELIS BACK PAY
HARD OUT HERE FOR A PIMP….
funny how they name track 12. Africa Must Wake Up while black people in this country is still sleeping especially those from the south
@DARKAQUA…you are really pressed about NaS’ finances! Will be coping this album!
Damn… Nas got me waiting worse then Kelis on the 1st of the month.
@TEFLON DON !
nigga don’t start. ain’t shit more awake about black people in the north, midwest, west, or east coast than in the south. poverty, bad education, drugs, black on black crime, uncle toms, and all kinds of disunity are a common thread. cut the bullshit. we all sleep…and have been collectively since we got here.
anyway though, on Untitled, America, Untitled (the farrakhan joint), Project Roach, You Can’t Stop Us Now, Fried Chicken, and We’re Not Alone are my favorites. he was dropping knowledge all over that shit. oh, and Queens Get The Money was just stupid. over that piano loop…ridiculous. Testify was dope too…just some real shit.
FO REEL TEFLON DON!! well put, however im not sure if you should if you should single out the south or even blacks in general, us white folk be sleepin too!! its time 4 us all to get up, break the cycle of drugs and and media distractions, propaganda and fight the power!
i wont be buying, waiting for a solo Nas album
dope
i saw them live…. i like solo NAS better.. but this is koo
idk if its worth the $12.99 or w.e.
THIS ALBUM IS GOING TO SAVE AFRICA. IM GOING TO SEND A CARE PACKAGE TO AFRICA WITH CLOTHING, WATER, AND COPIES OF NAS AND MARLEY NEW ALBUM. AIDS WILL BE FORGOTTEN, WHEN NASTY SPITS FOR THE HOMELAND.
@BLOW PURP LIKE BURPS
SARCAMS A BITCH AIN’T IT
“I want, when they see me, They know that everyday when I’m breathing is for us to go further. Everytime I speak I want the truth to come out. Everytime I speak I want a shiver. I don’t want them to be like they know what I’m gonna say because it’s polite. Im not saying I’m gonna rule the world or I’m gonna change the world, but I guarantee you that I will spark the brain that will change the world. And that’s our job, It’s to spark somebody else whatching us. We might not be the one’s, but let’s not be selfish and because we not gonna change the world let’s not talk about how we should change it. I don’t know how to change it, but I know if I keep talking about how dirty it is out here, somebody’s gonna clean it up.”- TUPAC
Y’ALL CAN CALL ME A STAN BUT I’LL GLADLY QUOTE PAC.
@BK
that was real shit too my dude. i remember the interview where he spoke that. powerful.
LOOKIN’ FORWARD TO THIS ALBUM!!!! DON’T KNOW HOW THE FUCK THAT SWEET ASS NIGGA LIL WAYNE GOT ON THERE!!!! SMH!!!! BUT I SMELL GRAMMY AWARD FOR THIS ALBUM!!!!! SLEEPER ALBUM OF THE YEAR!!!!! GET ‘EM NAS!!!!! QUEENS ALL DAY!!!!!
DON’T HATE ON MY OPINION!!!!
YEAH MAN HE WAS A REVOLUTIONARY. THERE WAS A TIME WHEN EVEN INTERVIEWS GAVE PEOPLE KNOWLEDGE.
KEY WORD THERE BEING WAS. SO IF NAS TRYIN KICK SOME KNOWLEDGE, PREACH ON MAN… THERES STILL SOME THAT ARE LISTENING.
Untitled was the shit! I don’t know or why how niggaz slept on that album. I know this is gonna be nothin short of a classic…I know the Lil’ Wayne riled up a couple of niggaz but u gotta admit, Wayne can get a lil political. When he puts all his bullshit space rhymes and eat pussy monster shit, he’s a beast on truthful songs. This may be like that joint on Wyclef’s album w/ Raekwon and Akon. Otha than that, this shit is gonna be dope. Can’t wait.
THING WITH NAS IS MOST OF THE SHIT HE SAYS GOES OVER PEOPLES HEADS BECAUSE THEY DON’T REALLY LISTEN TO WHAT HE’S SAYING. THEY JUST BRUSH IT OFF AND SAY HE AIN’T ALL THAT; IGNORANCE IS BLISS.

Been anticipating this for awhile, can’t wait…. enough with the pushbacks, drop this shit!!! The real GOAT = Nasir Jones.
Can’t wait. Seems like forever since this album was supposed to drop, but with two of the greatest from two of my favorite genres on deck I have a feeling it will be worth the wait.
