JasonMartin, formerly known as Problem, connects with Wiz Khalifa on their new record, “G.R.E.A.M 2008” featuring Wiz Khalifa.
Inspired by the Wu-Tang classic “C.R.E.A.M.”, the pair light up their spliffs and zone out with their braggadocios and thought-provoking bars.
“My skills get better with this repetition / Hit the mark every time, that’s what you call precision,” begins Wiz on the opening verse, before passing the heat over to Compton MC. “Tryna recultivate the culture while ducking the vultures / Navigating through the hatred and suckers’ emotions,” raps Martin.
Earlier this month, JasonMartin released his self-directed and starring film, A Compton Story on Tubi and released the first part of its soundtrack featuring 14 songs. “G.R.E.A.M. 2008” is one of the new 16 records that he will add to A Compton Story on Friday (Nov. 17).
