Kevin Gates’s got his ears glued to the streets. Such is the case in the video to his brand new single, “Birds Calling”.

Whipping working from inside his trap house, the Breadwinner chief counts endless piles of money and stacks of bricks.

“I’ma get us out these trenches and we gon’ be alright / Cheapest numbers in the city in and the dope is alright,” he raps over Starrah and 3:00’s production. He continues, “Big old eagle flipping chickens in the dope, it’s alright / I’m the nigga in charge, started off dealing it hard, got my problem solved / Did what it take, I elevated in rank and got my squad involved.”

“Birds Calling” follows the previous “God Slippers” and “Yonce Freestyle” featuring Sexyy Red and B.G., and are all off his upcoming album, The Ceremony.
