Last month at Giant Step’s 14th annual Sunset Soiree, drummer ?uestlove paid homage to Renaissance man Gilles Peterson. ?uest says Giles was the first to support The Roots and that he strives to emulate his career.
?uest is the best. I jus downloaded The Roots Dilla Beats mixtape, and that shit is dope and relaxing. ?uest and The Roots’ll go down as the best band in hip hop history. EVER!
