Takisha says:
He freestyled on Naetoc’s track…..he mixed in Nigerian words
tamaea says:
“Kini Big Deal” was originally recorded by Nigerian artist Naeto C. Wale made this clear via twitter.
It’s in English and Nigerian pidgin English which incorporates bits of the three major Nigerian languages – Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba.
Just FYI.
Tops says:
Swear Naeto C Had This Song?/
GBO says:
Whoever posted this on rapradar better step their posting UP!! This is not Wales song!!! Its a nigerians.. he jst freestyled over it!! Thot the original artist should get his props!! NAETO C!!
slowmo says:
@tamaea
dude pidgin english does not incorporate any parts of hausa, igbo OR yoruba, it’s just a broken form of the english language…. when trying to sound smart goes wrong.
@slowmo, pray tell… What part of “broken” english does the word “kini” fall into? Or “shebi”??
If you’re going to come up with an argument, at least remember ur context.
Takisha says:
DEAD @ Slowmo loooooll…sooo true…tryna sound intellectual meanwhile she just LIED lol
Takisha says:
kini big deal is not pidgin – it’s a slang….and kini big deal does not incorporate ypruba ibo and hausa…the only non english word there is Kini and it’s yoruba….so please Tamaea stop trying to over do it..Thanks
tamaea says:
@takisha, and “kini big deal” (pidgin slang btw) now takes care of the whole pidgin vocab abi?
Besides, my comment was clearly aimed at Mr B.Dot who asks what language Wale is speaking.
Anyhow, Chief Mrs authority on pidgin, please go ahead. Kini Big Deal, abi?
william says:

people pls. stop the hatin,
yes the song was a cover of NaetoC’s original song and yes the original “kini big deal” song has yoruba and hausa lines in it so tamaea’s correct (not sure bout the igbo). can’t see why takisha and slowmo are making this a big thing AND laying into tamaea.
