the only times 50 delivered his “deathblows” were to artists whose careers were on a downward slide anyway… Rick Ross’s albums have been selling less and less with each release. Fat Joe hadn’t done much on a big scale since lean back. It’s not like 50 is doing anything worthy of note. Just alienating more fans.
Even though ross doesnt sell that many albums, he still has a lot of fans, usually younger ones. All 50 has done is pissed off younger fans. When 50 throws subliminals at lil wayne and jay-z, bad mouths Rick Ross, he just antagonizes their huge fan bases. People who might have been 50 cent fans at one point, or maybe could have been 50 cent fans.
Its essentially why BISD didn’t sell very well (aside from the leak). The music was there, his best since GRODT, but no one gives a shit and everyones fed up with him.
