In today’s edition of the NY Daily News, the paper has an excerpt of Jay-Z’s upcoming Rolling Stone cover story. In it, the “King of America” discusses LeBron James’ free agency and the New Jersey Nets. Issue hits newsstands June 24th.

You can call me a fan, a stan, a groupie, whatever u wanna call me, that`s immature. But at the end of the day, i stated facts. I`m very proud to see a black man, with all the odds we all know, go from nothing to all that. If anything, this guy deserves the support of his community. It`s inspiring. If you’re 25+, i know you feel him. There’s no reason to hate the dude. I mean he`s been having breakfast with like two top 20 Forbes Richest Men Alive. Doesn`t matter if u like his music or not.
