Drizzy gave his first performance in the United Kingdom last night as the opening act for Jay-Z’s concert at the MEN Arena in Manchester. Afterward, Jigga encouraged the 13,000 fans to pick up Drake’s debut, Thank Me Later because “it’s good music—just my thoughts”. June 15.
idk… hope jay is either waiting to pooch drake from young money or hopeing to get some serious residuals for promoting this guy.
Hope he puts this much effort when j.cole album release is near.
@ the truth83,i feel so too,i don’t know his motives but dude puts more time into promo-ing drake than his own artist,oh well…to each his own.
wasnt a big push from jay about getting the album , he just thanked people who had helped, like the band, mr hudson and then drake with “go cop that album”
@TheTruth83 and cza. Jay is clearly a very wealthy man so whenever he does something its because he feels like it. That is all. He does not need to do shit but what’s in J.Cole’s contract this aint Sesame Street.
If J.Cole had Drake’s work rate or put in that much work, he’d be opening for Jay-Z that’s a mo brainer. But fans gravitate to Drake more than they do J.Cole so Drake is the to go to guy or Trey Songz.

J Cole is working hard on finishing the album right now and touring in the states hes getting ready for the debut .Drake is garbage live. alot people don’t like him in England.

i was at the birmingham gig with mr hudson warming the crowd for drake, theres a lot over here that aint even heard of drake but know j.cole. Dont get me wrong j.cole’s good but has fuck all on Drake. Drake is about to become big in the UK commercially and after his live performances he wont need Jay Z plugging his new album it will sell too many here anyway!! He’s names Drizzy and he aint perfect,he works hard,so he deserves it!!!!
