With 50, I know he doesn’t bang NOW but he has a very real reputation in the streets of Queens. There’s nothing phony about it. He was selling crack at 11. He had a Benz at 18. He turned his street hustle into one of the most legit corporate success stories of all time. I respect 50.
I am not under the impression that everyone else is real. I agree with those of you who say that 90% of these rappers are fake. It’s just a shame to me to see these clowns dressed up as gangsters and sell that image like it’s cool in the first place. For me, as a listener, I can’t get past it. I can’t FEEL Rick Ross’ music because it’s glamorizing a lifestyle he never really lives, but still proclaims to have lived.

If you not gonna like it, criticize it for something that is audibly flawed or wack (i.e. drums suck, it’s a simple loop, etc etc). With this track you can’t!
