For ESPN’s new season of 30 For 30, the network plans a documentary entitled One Night in Vegas, chronicling the friendship between Tupac Shakur and Mike Tyson. Directed by Reggie Bythewood, the doc will revolve around Tyson’s victory over Bruce Seldon on September 7, 1996. Pac was gunned down later that night. The full episode airs on the 14th anniversary of his death.
I feel conflicted about this because MIke himself has said that he didnt listen to what Pac would have to say at this time. He didnt realize the magnitude of his words. I’m prolly just tripping.
Gonna have to check this out… I remember when tyson was the baddest man on the planet.. By the time pac died don king had him fightin bums.. Alot of people werent really pac fans til all eyez on me.. Most people werent fuckin with pac like that on the east til after he died..thats the way i remember it..
30 for 30 is that shit, always nice pieces.
My Pops was at that match, he was also on the strip when he got popped..
The 30 for 30 producers must be hip hop heads. lol
I thought it was after the holyfield fight that pac got gunned down??
I can’t wait to watch 30 for 30 is my shit!!!!!!
a picture is worth 1,000 words…Suge in the back left. Is that David Mack with hair on the far right? Part of the two-man team they say hit B.I.G ?
@bee I think thats 2pac’s bodyguard isnt it, Frank Alexander? @rdizzle no. it was after the Tyson-Seldon fight.
Pac died on the 13th of September, not the 14th.
And why does buddy on the far right look like Daryl from the office…
@ bee & derek
i think that is actually kevin hackie. he worked for the company that did all the security for death row. frank alexander worked for the same company
@ DC

At the end of the documentary there was a nice song and I want to know if anyone in here knew who sang the last song. It had some good harmony and great singers. Anyone have any idea who they were? Or is there a way I can look them up on youtube or something? Thank you!
