After the jump, check out the foreword of Curt’s book with Robert Greene. Considering 50’s success, maybe other rappers should rip a page out his book too. The 50th Law drops September 8th.
Cool Calculating Spectacle, boisterous and verbose in the public, with 10 chess moves in private.
How you are a young man and not pick up this book….Like we have never seen a man from the ghetto rise to this much wealth before our own eyes ever..well speaking for my generation..and i am 23…This guy embodies success, determination, desire and dedication
This looks to be something anyone trying to get they shit right should read.
But I don’t feel like Curtis is the one that should be expanding on Greene’s great works. I see how one could take him for a Makiavelian figure, but I just don’t see it. There are certain rules that are altered due to levels of melanin and perception and I don’t think 5-0 entertains nuance or enough history to reveal a truly iconic persona. I think luck has a lot to do with what has propelled him (no hate), but that doesn’t quite translate into the type of credibility & perspective this book requires. Shorter = This is Sean Corey’s territory…
I think this is gonna be a serious book. A modern day classic. I’m copping it.
