Parents just don’t understand, but Jay-Z does. This morning, Hov and Will Smith’s daughter, Willow appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s morning show and spoke on her joining the Roc.

Jada, under no circumstances, Willow must read adverse comments about herself because this is the ingredient that makes for self-pity and pain. There are people who will be determined to take her down because they are only haters and enviable of her breakthrough and no doubt, her future success.
I take this opportunity to thank you and Will for giving us Jada and let me add, your son (forgot his name). There was no doubt in my mind that Willow will make you both proud as I watched her on Oprah when her brother was being interviewed. I thought she would have been a fashion model, but this is a big surprise.
