Last week, Pill spat the first verse of this at the Rap Radar Mansion. Well, here’s the full version for your listening pleasure. 4075: The Refill drops Nov. 17th. Get cha fix. EV
Yesterday, Pete Rock stepped behind the 1’s and 2’s for an hour on Tony Toca’s show on Shade 45. For those wanting the set on their hard drive, here’s a download link. Thank me later.
Here are the visual aids to last night’s conversation on Power 99 in Philadelphia. Can’t believe I’m losing sleep over this. Previously: Beanie & 50 Cent discuss Jay-Z On Power 99
Tat-tat-tatted up!
Hmm, I bet. 52 weeks after America elected it’s first Colored president, Diddy turns the big 4-0. He told you he won’t stop. Above is a clip from his staff last year. OG Diddy’s for everybody! May all your dreams come true.
Simply put: Jay Electronica’s loco! Before performing “Exhibit C” back to back…to back, he ran through some underground favorites and spoke—a lot. More after the jump, chump.
For those occupying the 50 States, today is election day. And to commemorate the day, Joell slid over this new freestyle. Oh yeah, he’s endorsing NY mayoral candidate Bill Thompson too. Polls close at 9:00 p.m.
During Sigel’s rant on “Whatchu Talkin Bout”, Beans was mum as to who “wanted to give him some real money”. Well this morning, 50 revealed to Miss Jones (remember her?) on Power 99 in Philly, that he wanted to sign Beanie for roughly $800,000 after he served a year and a day in 2005.
Freddie and Pill flirt with death in the latest visual off the Midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik mixtape. The end of the vid segues into a snippet of Pill’s “Run Up To Me” from 4075: The Refill.
Man, this drop from Masspike Miles is seriously smooth from start to finish. The Road Less Traveled totally delivers on that signature R&B vibe, and the production choices across these tracks are just insane. It honestly feels more complete than a lot of full-length albums out right now. Tracks like "Devoted" with Bun B and the title track hit different when you are just cruising around the city late at night. If you are heading out to grab the physical copy or hitting up a late-night listening session across town, trying to flag down reliable taxi services can sometimes be a real hassle, so planning ahead definitely saves the mood. Overall, this project proves why he is such a vital part of the Maybach crew. Definitely keep this one on repeat for a while.
