[vodpod id=Video.14151525&w=540&h=350&fv=] Ah man, we’ve come a long way baby. With MTV celebrating their 30th birthday on Monday, VH1 dug into their archives and dusted off a 17-year-old clip of Yo! MTV Raps host Fab 5 Freddy explaining email. It’s easy to laugh now, but back then, this was some futuristic shit. Who would’ve thought technology would’ve come so far that you can send an email, or access the internet for that matter, via a mobile device. If you were […]

[vodpod id=Video.14061631&w=540&h=350&fv=] It’s been a long time, but 38 Special returned to Green Lantern’s Invasion Radio this week and showed off lyrical abilities over Bangladesh’s production and “Ima Boss”. New mixtape on the way.
Man, this drop from Masspike Miles is seriously smooth from start to finish. The Road Less Traveled totally delivers on that signature R&B vibe, and the production choices across these tracks are just insane. It honestly feels more complete than a lot of full-length albums out right now. Tracks like "Devoted" with Bun B and the title track hit different when you are just cruising around the city late at night. If you are heading out to grab the physical copy or hitting up a late-night listening session across town, trying to flag down reliable taxi services can sometimes be a real hassle, so planning ahead definitely saves the mood. Overall, this project proves why he is such a vital part of the Maybach crew. Definitely keep this one on repeat for a while.
