Actually, Extra P’s on the back and the legendary Miles Davis is on the front.
No disrespect to the jazz king. In fact, YN’s gonna have to cop a new shelf at the RR Mansion for 71 CDs!

Last night all the cool kids were in Cali to support Miss Keri’s latest video shoot. So if you wanna get your voyeur on and stop and stare at Polow Da Don, Monica, Young Money’s Omarion, and “Fuck Boy” Brown—this clip goes out to you, to you, to you. You are not alone.
My neighbor weighs in on the Plaxico case, the flick he’s filming, and praises ‘Ye’s verse from “Run This Town.” Don’t touch my mail, Lonnie! Of Course: Fake Shore Drive
Been trying to get the MP3 of this all week. The story goes Slaughterhouse was booked for Hot 97’s new morning show, Cipha Sounds and Rosenberg. But because Mouse didn’t want to speak on the Raekwon situation, they shelved the sitdown. They did get them to freestyle over “The What” instrumental and played it on the air which I heard half-asleep one morning. Got it? Either way, just listen to 3/4ths of Slaughterhouse play pass the mic. Too bad Joell needed a lozenge. Ha! No shots.

Sidebar: The Internets are warring over the Slaughterhouse sub-par SoundScan performance. Pretty entertaining stuff. I may weigh in with my take next week.
Omarion is gettin’ his tweet on. Says he did not get served. 1-2-3: We Don’t Believe You! I think Bow Wow goin’ to Cash Money had something to do with it. UPDATE: O Speaks. Someone needs to explain to me what this SayNow shit is all about.

“We De La til the death/ Or at least until we break-up.”
Look at the dopeness I’ve found. In my book, this Grind Date closer was the last great De La Soul record. Yeah I said it. Of course, MF Doom is missed from last week’s show at the Nokia Theater, but the brothers from Long Island still bring the stop-and-go craziness. Freeze!

And if that ain’t good enough, here’s the album version.

Bonus: More De La live with crisp audio.
Previously: De La Soul x DMC “Rock Box” (Live N.Y.)
Don’t get it twisted. Pity is way worse than hate. Here the Talk of New York expresses some remorse over G-Unit’s estranged solider, Young Buck.
[vodpod id=ExternalVideo.890844&w=425&h=350&fv=]
“Shout to Young Buck,” Yayo said standing in the G-Unit offices earlier this week. “I wish you was with us, getting some money, living the life.”
Has Yayo’s stance actually softened towards Buck after all this time? His response to the Cashville rapper’s recent words on cyberspace was, “When I see it, I feel a little sorry for him, because he could be taking the same advantages I’m taking.”
“Buck, I think he’s at a point where financially, I don’t think he got it, homie,” Tony explained. “What are you doing? I don’t see him anywhere. Even when you don’t see me, Yayo’s in Peru getting a nice check with 50. You can call it whatever you wanna call it; I’m still buying cars, Louis glasses, Porsches. If Buck was around, he would still have these outlets available to him.”
Sorry, David Brown.

It is so heartbreaking to hear DJ Premier break the news that DJ Kool Herc’s health is ailing, as he is literally the founding father who laid down the blueprint for hip-hop culture. Thinking about how someone who built an entire global phenomenon can end up struggling with medical expenses or failing health really puts things into perspective regarding healthcare challenges. When you look at how people navigate health or wellness procedures worldwide—whether someone is researching cosmetic treatments like Liposuction Cyprus or seeking urgent medical care—it underscores how essential access to reliable medical help and proper support systems really is. Kool Herc gave us the breaks, the block parties, and the entire movement that shaped generations of music lovers, so seeing the community step up to show love while DJ Premier brings awareness to his condition is the very least we can do. Sending strength and prayers to Kool Herc for a full recovery, and massive respect to DJ Premier for using his platform to make sure a true pioneer gets the support and respect he deserves.
