RR Exclusive: dead prez “Stimulus Plan” (DJ Green Lantern)
dead prez rapradar.com

“Slavery was about money.”

True Story: Was supposed to break this bad boy on opening day, but the Evil Genius put me back in the bullpen. But now that everyone knows Green Lantern is in the dead prez business, I can now share. Here’s the jump off (not the first single) from the Pulse of The People due on 6/23/09.

New Music: Jadakiss “Things I’ve Been Through”
Jada RapRadar.com

“X was bringin’ in the moolah/ I was in the hood in the kitchen with the digital rulers.”

OK I promise THIS is the last joint we’re gonna post from The Last Kiss. B.Dot feels this one has the most single potential. Are you listening BOBO? Ha! Jada passionately and pointedly gives an auto-bio of his career path over a smoother than silk Luther Vandross sample.

YN Predicts T.I. & Tiny Will Get Married
T.I. and Tiny RapRadar.com

Take with a grain of salt most of the things you see on Media Takeout but I got a feeling this one might turn true. Rumors are runnin’ rampant that T.I. may make Tiny an honest woman before he turns himself in on May 19. Even the so-called legitimate news outlets are pickin’ up on it. I say why not. Tiny has obviously repped for damn near a decade, she deserves to be Mrs. Harris. It’s about fuckin’ time, Cliff. Join the club, shawty. Put a ring on it.

Unreleased Cam’ron: “Spend The Night”

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BF2UYaXOvE]

“The clothes from Italy/ The coke from Sicily/ I’m talkin’ literally/ C’mon now, stop kiddin’ me.”

As anticipation for Crime Pays continues to build, another Cam’ron Giles song appears. Despite more leaks than my old apt on 182 Norfolk, I’m sure the Diplomats founder will insist this will not touch the final CD. Oh well, no such thing as too much Killa.

Yup, I possess a lot of things. Hey late night: Here’s Curtis! A throwback jersey-rockin’ 50 makes his network television debut on Kimmel along with an all-star cast: Al Michaels, The Rock, and Snoop Dogg. Six years later and still pretty funny.

Check for performances of “In Da Club” and “Wanksta” after the jump.

Throwback Video: Suge Knight’s New Death Row

{mp4-flvremote width=”540″ height=”350″}http://facebook-video-7.vo.llnwd.net/video-ll-sf2p/v2685/246/87/1022164365643_37592.mp4{/mp4-flvremote}

“One thing everybody knows is this: There’s not one person out there can sit up here and say they slapped Suge Knight or punked Suge Knight.”

Anybody remember MTV’s news show, The Wrap, with the homie Gideon Yago? Prolly not. But this will take you back. Oh how things done changed. Lots of Crooked I, support for Ja Rule, and as far as the statement above, um… Crystal, can you change you my cell #?

Consequence In The Studio With Styles P and Statik Selektah

“Get my cover in the back.”

Nothing groundbreaking here. Just your boy Cons and his trusty Kyte cam lettin’ us into a secret session with Styles P and Statik. They’re promising a “classic” here. I’ll just take a good, solid joint. Either way, I’ll give it a listen.

Props: Show Off. Your basement has great choice in magazine posters. Ha!

DJ Quik and Kurupt Make An Album
Quik Kurupt RapRadar.com

Apparently Terrance Martin isn’t the only producer Kurupt has been makin’ music with. It’s just been announced that the Dogg Pound MC has paired with legendary West Coast trackmaster, DJ Quik for The Blaqkout due June 9. Take that Red and Meth!

In a press release, Quik explains why the album became a reality:

“Kurupt does in rap what I do in music. It just made sense. Kurupt is a gangster rapper in the sense of being raw, bare-bones and uncut. I wanted to do music that evoked certain feelings and could show his microphone superiority.”

Highlighted cuts to check for include the title track, the explosive “9 Times Out Of Ten” and “Hey Playa” (Moroccan Blues) which includes a sample from a song Quik heard in a Morocco episode of this show.

We all know Mr. Blake loves them foreign sounds.
