R&B singer Major Harris passed away Friday at his home in Richmond, VA from congestive heart and lung failure. He was 65. As a solo artist, Major Harris is well known for his hit “Love Won’t Let Me Wait”. The Delfonics have been frequently sampled in Hip-Hop by many artists, most famously by, Ghostface Killah and The Fugees. His last performance was in 2011 when he reunited with the group. R.I.P. While Nas takes Radio City, Coldplay announced that they will be playing alongside Jay-Z at the Barclays Center on December 31st and the night before. Tickets go on sale November 17 on Live Nation. This marks the second time the tandem performed on New Year’s Eve. In 2010, they headlined the grand opening of The Cosmopolitan in Vegas with guests Kanye, Beyoncè and John Mayer.
