This is an interesting collaboration and a nice way to keep fans excited about what J. Cole might have coming next. His ability to bring a distinctive style and thoughtful delivery to different artists’ projects always makes his verses worth listening to. The collaboration with Adam Levine’s band sounds like a refreshing combination, and hopefully it does lead to more new music from Cole soon.
