Last night, Ghost held a MySpace concert I was oblivious to at the Hiro Ballroom in NYC. Pretty Tone ran through classics including personal favorite, “Strawberry”…with Kid Cudi? Other special guests included Redman, Jadakiss, Large Pro, and Raheem DeVaughn. At the 8:15 mark, Starks reveals that he’s never received royalties for his albums due to pricey sample clearances. Instead, he used it as a trade off for producing a dope catalogue. Thanks, Ghost. You are appreciated. Props: Rekstizzy Update: Blows […]

Here’s why: Why He’s Hot: Young Jeezy may not yet have a mainstream, marquee name like some of his platinum peers, but the Snowman is an undeniable rap goliath. In hip-hop, his moniker holds just as much weight as the other big dogs. How else could he bring out Kanye West and Usher during the big Birthday Bash concert in his hometown of […]

This was a solid piece, especially how it highlights Benny The Butcher’s personality and presence during the car interview. I like how it shows a more relaxed, real side of him while still keeping that raw energy he is known for. It’s interesting to see how artists can express themselves differently in casual settings compared to a studio or stage environment. It also made me think about how comfort and setup matter in everyday situations, not just in music or media. For example, when you spend a lot of time in a vehicle, small upgrades can really improve the experience. Something like kei truck seat covers can help keep things comfortable and protect your seats at the same time. It’s all about finding ways to improve both comfort and longevity in whatever you use daily.
