Flavor Flav Gives An Interview To The NY Post

This wasn’t even my interview, but I couldn’t help but eavesdrop. Here Flav spares a couple minutes with a reporter from The NY Post.  The significance you ask? Well, on the Public Enemy album  Apocalypse ’91: The Enemy Strikes Black, PE recorded the diss track, “A Letter To The NY Post”.  Doubt Mr. Murdoch got the message.

DMX On “DMXing” The Game

As YN stated, last night was the taping of VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in NY. This year, Def Jam was honored for its 25 years of operation. Before the ceremony, I caught DMX on the red carpet. He is often credited for changing—or as Jay-Z puts it, “DMXing the game” with his 1998 debut album It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot. Briefly, X speaks on how he intended on shaking things up.
