Deep in YN’s hip-hop treasure trove comes a candid interview with Nas at the height of his battle with [insert any rapper/ DJ here]. At the 4:22 mark, Nasir throws Funk Flex off the train.
“From my understanding he was mixing at gay clubs. Now he’s mixing on Hot 97.” Ouch.
After the jump, he talks about the conspiracist Hot 97 and his foiled Summer Jam plans. Smarten up, Nas.

Yup, I possess a lot of things. Hey late night: Here’s Curtis! A throwback jersey-rockin’ 50 makes his network television debut on Kimmel along with an all-star cast: Al Michaels, The Rock, and Snoop Dogg. Six years later and still pretty funny.
Check for performances of “In Da Club” and “Wanksta” after the jump.

“One thing everybody knows is this: There’s not one person out there can sit up here and say they slapped Suge Knight or punked Suge Knight.”
Anybody remember MTV’s news show, The Wrap, with the homie Gideon Yago? Prolly not. But this will take you back. Oh how things done changed. Lots of Crooked I, support for Ja Rule, and as far as the statement above, um… Crystal, can you change you my cell #?

Yup, YN knows a lil something about video chicks. Here’s an excluisve clip from the fourth episode of E!’s Candy Girls which airs on Sunday’s at 10:30 EST. Pretty girls arguing over fried chicken? Must see TV!

This is it, y’all. You can’t believe there’s this much Kanye footage on RapRadar and I can’t believe I shot all this shit. Fair exchange! Ha! Anyways, this is the final sequence, which features more flashing lights, group hugs and more of Kanye’s poor memory. Only Reagan’s was worst. Look it up!

Get out the way Cudi, the Chi-town express is coming! I don’t even like this piss-poor Pharrell track but even I was hoppin’ up and down. I never seen Com so animated. Maybe he was so amped because he knew a reunion with his ex-boo was on deck.

Is this gonna be the star of the XXL cover pack? Time will tell. But “Sky Might Fall,” sounds like a pretty good second single to me. Click on further for that song you can’t escape and Cudi’s collabo with Cons over a Tribe classic.

There are 7 wonders of the world. You are about to witness the eighth. And if you survive this, there’s more.

As amazing as the G.O.O.D. music show at SXSW was, it was not without fault. Peep the sound bwoy burial worthy “We Major” and, after the jump, check out a constant problem of the night, Mr. West flubbin’ and often forgettin’ his rhymes.
Tyler, The Creator’s *Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale* is pure chaos in the best way. Tracks hit hard, playful, and introspective, reminding me of chilling at Sobha Skyparks, just vibing with the sunset. This album’s a perfect mix of fun and depth—Tyler nailed it.
