This is a super dope album with only a few songs you could skip depending on your taste. Surprisingly the only song i didn’t love was the one with Schoolboy Q and Killer Mike.
I love that track. Common could’ve stayed home.
Word I could agree with that, Royce was dope on that song by himself switching cadences when it sped up. I might just need more time and more listens for that one. The Jay Elect song took me a while but now I really like it.

To each their own, I didn’t feel like the beat was right for the 3 of them to all work on, but like I said to someone else here I might just need to give it more time and it could grow on me.
That was the best Q verse I’ve heard in a minute and Mike killed it. 2-3 songs didn’t’ hit me at first, but upon relisten they go even harder.
I’m a big Q, Mike and Royce fan so I was surprised to not love them but I’ve been listening to it a few times since I wrote that even. This album is great.

The Ab Soul verse was the weakest verse on the album. That’s a half dis, bc his verse was aight but with so many other standout guest appearances, this was the weakest. “I gotta a lot of passion”

i might disagree with yn and bdot at times, but i do respect that they make calls. and its blackowned. blogs are like barbershops or strip clubs. certain ones give you certain vibes. some you can hang out in & get to know people, and some are straight down to business. on rapradar, we commentors like it to be more of some hangout shit, yn don’t have time for that and wants it to be more like the 40/40 club or madison square. bdot occasionally does chill and understands more about the importance of building at the grassroots. either way, they make calls, which i respect, even when i disagree. if anything i wish they would go against the grain more. and be willing to piss people off even more.
