Acid Trip.
Mr. “I Love College” struggles to establish a new sound on his second album. We enjoyed “Dude” with Curren$y but the rest here left us disinterested in Roth’s reinvention.

This was one of my favorite albums of the year. I have hard time believing YN even listened to any of these albums he’s putting on the worst list.

  3. MadShot says:

I don’t agree at all. It was one of the best albums of 2014. Ash doin his thing, away from the commercial mainstream bullshit, really inspired. It’s hip-hop, it’s inspiring, it is real.
One of the best albums of the year.
FU RapRadar for this. Support real Hip-Hop for once.

  4. TheTruthHurts says:

I don’t normally agree with Rap Radar but this album actually was kind of disappointing to me, I agree that besides Dude with Curren$y I could have passed on this album, Pabst & Jazz was much better.

  5. notafaggot says:

you got no type, try me, and no label 2 on best lists but this album on the worst list? smh. At least its not the same recycled, corny, hot trash

  6. BonBon says:

Way off in My Opinion.. This was def. in my top 5 most played albums this year.

  7. ShitYouNeedToKnow says:

  10. Korben Dallas says:

This was a great album, definitely one of the albums I had in rotation the most in 2014. These lists are ridiculously bad.

  11. diggz says:

  14. ncprecise says:

I agree to disagree… this album was fire

  15. soulife says:

This was definitely a great album this year, Ash did a cohesive, unique high quality project. Plus the fact that this mac diesel clown is calling it trash simply proves it was a good album. Nobody is hatin on your opinion, we just don’t give a shit.

  16. North Griffey says:

I didn’t even know this came out last year.

  17. themindofdre says:

You guys must be close minded as fuck when it comes to music. I’ll say this: Rap Radar is the radio version of hip hop blogs. Creativity will get you nowhere here; publicity and status does. I know everything is opinion, but Pull It, Fast Life, Last of the Flohicans, and Tangerine Girl are dope and actually try to be creative. Then again, this site often has that short-sighted “for the club and the ladies” Hot97 mentality that keeps hip hop in a tight little box that only grows when someone is “hot”

  18. Danteiskool says:

This list is biased, this was a great album in my opinion. But I’m not surprised when rap radar labeled “hot nigga” the best track of 2014

  19. Danteiskool says:

    tangerine girl was amazing

  20. NYComicBookGuy says:

HAHAHAHA! This site is a fucking joke! “Retrohash” is on the worst list for 2014!!?? This album was dope! But I get it, it didn’t feature Rick Ross or Hov, have a lame as dance or DJ mustard, recycling the same damn beat 14 times over. RR is the real MVP.

  22. The Almighty says:

Y’all over at rapradar are insane… this album was actually really good. What’s wrong with you fools?

  23. the truth says:

seems racist. i understand iggy and riff raff but throwing retro Hash in this convo comes across as racist and really lowers my opinion of the rest of the ratings.

real hip hop analysis sites had this as one of the most underrated.
