Make It Happen
He’s been a power broker in the business of music for over three decades, and Kevin Liles—author, executive, trendsetter, leader—is just gettin’ started. Fresh off the second year anniversary of indie juggernaut 300 Entertainment, the Baltimore native speaks on the success of 300, the challenges and triumphs of entrepreneurship, his long friendship with Lyor Cohen, and his own Def Jam presidency days (back when Jay Z, DMX and Ja Rule ruled). Plus: Liles talks about the new adventures of Young Thug, Fetty Wap, and much, much more. Subscribe on iTunes here.

Thanks!
I listen to you podcast everyday. I particularly liked Kevin Liles and Lyor Cohen and Biggs episodes…Could you guys interview more executives like that behind the scenes types…
A quality guest. Finally.
Kevin Liles is def a good guest to listen to on a podcast. Before I delve into it, I just wanted to point out one thing I’ve always wanted to voice…..
Kevin Liles and Lyor Cohen are partners in 300 with one other guy right? Another power broker.
Does anybody want to explain to me why all these powerful guys run a music company and have some of he shittiest artists signed to them. Migos, Young Thug and Fetty Wap?!?! Fetty Wap arguably the most successful out of them all and even he can’t move albums. None of these guys can move albums. And musically they aren’t even that good, so why do they continue to dump money into them?
Good Question, I think Professor Griff can answer that one for you. It’s obvious isn’t it?
Great interview!!
I like it when Rap Radar invites behind-the-scenes guests.
Keep up the good work.
Great episode, enjoyed it very much!!
A lot of insight learning!
