More recently, he self produced the hip-hop trio No Panty (Joell Ortiz, Bodega Bamz, and Nitty Scott) project. Celebrating his 30th year in the game, SaLaAM discusses his formative years, working with the Fugees, Nas, Amy Winehouse, Miguel, Mack Wilds and more. Subscribe on iTunes here.

This guy has produced some of the worst Nas records EVER!!!!! I never understood why Nas even bothers…

    1. Santigo says:

It’s weird…he has some Great Nas records (What Goes Around, Made U Look, Get Down, Queens Story) BUT…he also has some duds (Hey Nas, No One Else In The Room, Bridging The Gap, Who Killed It, The N, World’s An Addiction)… Definitely would rather hear Nas with Preemo & Pete Rock than Salaam anyday of the week

      1. Savimbi says:

Word, world’s an addiction and queens story might need to change spots on my list lol…it’s a little too much going for me in that track especially at the top of the album…

      2. Brian B.Dot™ Miller says:

Bridging The Gap was a dud?!

  2. el jim chapo guzman says:

I always thought this guy was wack at producing.. preemo super Mario and large professor was better to me

Six months ago, after i lost my previous job , i’ve been lucky to learn about this amazing company online that was a lifesaver for me… Offering well paid online jobs from home. My last check after working for them for 3 months was 12000 dollars… Amazing thing about it was that only thing required is basic typing and internet connection… http://korta.nu/NDe

After 5 years I decided to leave my previous job and I never felt so good in my life… I started doing a job from home, for this company I stumbled upon online, few hrs each day, and my income now is much bigger then it was on my previous job… My check for last month was for 9 thousand dollars… The best thing about this job is that i have more free time for my loved ones… http://korta.nu/MDe

Elliot and B.Dot I really enjoyed you guys execution on this interview. A lot of people weren’t aware of how much work SaLam Remi contributed to the Fugees success and you guys really brought that to light. To able to hear some of the stories about his relationship with Nas and collaborations on songs such as Queens Story and Made You Look really grabbed my attention and has given me much more respect for SaLam Remi.
