In March ?uestlove hinted that Run-DMC would perform for the first time since JMJ’s passing at The Roots’ third annual picnic in Philadelphia. But now, he tells Billboard that it’s not happening. Bummer. Instead, The Roots will play background for Ghostface, Method Man and Raekwon. The event goes down June 5th.
