Russell’s oldest son continues to hold it down in memory of his father. This is still pretty surreal.

This ain’t the first time they reconnected. And it probably won’t be the last. Sosa was one of Esco’s special guests last night. Here’s a quick runthrough of the three joints they peformed: “Life’s A Bitch,” “Phone Tap” and “Affirmative Action”. Firm Biz!

Double your pleasure. Double your fun. Here’s the two sides of the coin. First Meth gets his customary crowd surf on with his career jump off and, after the jump, Slaughterhouse’s finest delivers his signature hit. Too tired to watermark. Watch that thievery!
What’s a big moment in hip-hop without Mel D. Cole and his trusty camera? Here’s the visual evidence of Joe and Clifford walkin’ and talkin’ it out. Doesn’t it just warm your heart?

Such a busy day, I didn’t get a chance to catch Bobby Ray on the Entertainment and Sports Programming Network. Thankfully, the homie B-Rich sent this over.

One of B.Dot’s favorite young scrappers shared the bill with Wale and Clipse at a Sneaker Pimps event in our Nation’s capital last night. Opening act status but it looks he did his 1-2 thing.

Wale, in this track, shows once again his ability to blend different genres. He doesn't limit himself to hip-hop, but enriches it with R&B nuances, creating a familiar sound. This fusion is not only an exercise in style, but serves to intensify the emotional impact of the song. And then there is his ability to rap. Wale is a master at playing with words, creating complex rhymes and modulating his voice to best express his emotions. In 'Blanco', his rap part is an explosion of words that intertwine with the melody, creating a hypnotic and relaxing effect. His ability to go from moments of pure energy to moments of deep introspection is what makes this track so engaging; it reminds me of when you would slow dance, hugging your woman.
