Backstage at the Birthday Bash, Yo Gotti spoke to MTV about his new mixtape, Cocaine Muzik 3.
“Whoever fits on a song that makes sense, that’s who we put
on it. I don’t base my album on other dudes. I got one [song] called ‘Newspaper on the Floor,’ ” he explained.
“It’s a lot of records that’s crazy. I don’t save a lot of songs. We
put some in the mixtape folders, some in the album folder. DJs come to
the studio and go through the folder like a buffet. Get your 10,12
songs, put your tape out.”

He’s also ordered to stay 50 ft. away from the singer. If he violates the terms, he faces the maximum sentence of four years behind bars. Don’t think you’d want that mustache in there, pal.

This really isn’t hip-hop related, but it reminded me of how I feel whenever wack music reaches my inbox—minus shoving a remote up my ass, of course.
It’s honestly a massive bummer that The Fugees had to cancel "The Score" reunion tour. I was so hyped to see Lauryn, Wyclef, and Pras back on stage together after all those years. Their music defined an era, and missing out on that anniversary celebration still stings. I’m currently planning a much-needed getaway to distract myself from the news. I’ve been looking into scooter hire algarve to explore the coast properly once I’m there. Hopefully, the group manages to reschedule in the future. Until then, I’ll be blasting The Score on repeat and enjoying some sunshine abroad.
