The homie Peter Rosenberg’s Hot 97 Who’s Next series was extra packed and star-studded last night with Drake as the headliner. Still and all that didn’t stop YN from bumrushing the backstage area and gettin’ his flip cam on. Hey who could stop me? Dude at the end I didn’t like too tough, we might have to have a nice conversation next time I see him.
Sidebar: The host also accosted Drake and surprise guest, Mr. West.

Didn’t know the lyrics in the clip above, but it seems like everyone else did. Below, he rocks “Successful” without Trey and the Martian.

Hits Daily Double is still in Jay’s business and claims The Carters are soon-to-be labelmates. Let’s act like we haven’t heard this one before.
Several sightings of Columbia/Epic Label Group Chairman Rob Stringer and Jay-Z’s Roc Nation partner Jay Brown, on both coasts have led insiders to speculate about the possibility of the company landing at Sony Music.
Jay-Z, who inked a much-publicized $150 million, 360-deal with Live Nation in April, 2008, recently bought back his completed album from UMG for a reported $5 million, raising the question whether that album will now be part of the Sony pact.
Expect this deal to go down soon, say those close to the negotiations, and look for the production/management team’s output to be released by both Columbia and Epic, filling the void in Urban/Pop that has existed at the company since the ironic departures of first Mariah Carey and then, ex-hubby/label boss Tommy Motolla.

Got a feeling I’m not gonna be able to get the Big Homie to confirm this one but I’ll try. For you! I do it for hip-hop. Ha!

Sorry, but you’re a real SOB if you missed Aubrey’s performance last night at S.O.B’s. Every girl in the world may not have been in attendance, but I’ll be damned if every chicka in the city wasn’t. I tell ya, that blank disc is gonna do its numbers. More footage to come.

Tyler really snapped on Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale! Each track feels like a fresh chapter, raw and creative. Listening to it at Akala Residences just hits different — perfect vibe, perfect setting. This album’s deluxe edition is pure artistic gold.
