Today, marks a month since RapRadar’s launch. And in just 30 days, the double R (no Ruff Ryders) has managed to distinguish itself through fresh commentaries, original content, and building relationships with other bloggers. After the jump, Here are five great things about RapRadar after one month. Don’t player hate, aggregate. Ha!
At Def Jam.
1. “Mafia Music”
That’s a hot one. Think you heard it. Ha!
“The rumors turn me on. I’m masturbatin’ at the top.”
2. “Maybach Music 2“
A very good record coulda been a classic if the lyrical performances matched the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League beat of the year. I play the instrumental every day for motivation.
3. “Magniifcent”
Really liked it when it first came out. Stopped liking it for whatever reason. Diggin’ it again.
4. “Yacht Club” featuring Magazeen?
Some reggae chants. “Pussies don’t get pussy.” Yeah some Reggae hook style hook. Beat is cool but this ain’t grabbin me. “The fat Tommy Lee, I made out with like eight broads.” Second verse better than first. Can’t ride with chorus.
5. “Usual Suspects”
Nas joint. You already know. Produced by The Inkredibles for Nasty Beatmakers.
6. “All I Really Want”
Damn a lot of these songs have leaked already. Damn you LowKey. Ha! Video in Colombia coming soon. It’s cool to hear the joints properly mixed and mastered tho. Makes big difference. “All you need is me girl.” Real Ne-Yo. “All a nigga really want is you.” Very Terius.
Not to be confused with the nigga from Boston, but the Gay Fish Kanye West recently partnered with Canadian beverage company, GURU to develop his own line of energy drink. Here’s a press statement from ‘Ye regarding the deal:
“I express myself through music, fashion, art and design and that’s
why I am excited to collaborate with GURU; because the brand values
what I value, and I can put what inspires me into this new product, said Kanye West.”
*cracks open a Poland Spring*
I’d rather eat a pack of urinal cakes.
*throws bottle at ‘Ye*
Let Woooha into your life.
We all know Swizz has been prone to brag on his studio work a tad prematurely, but he supposedly has created the first single off B. Brown’s ex’s much heralded comeback. (Shit I put a bootleg vid of her performing on YouTube and I went platinum. Ha!)
Da Monsta claims:
“Just wrapped up with Whitney Houston,” Swizzy said in an Internet video posted Wednesday. “First single’s a smash. She’s comin’ back crazy!”
He also tweeted about the recording session the day before. “Whats popping today yall ok today i got Whitney H in the studio and Clive Davis will be there i got a big come back rec 4 her showtime.”
Swizz is also claiming he gonna get Eve an album out. Smh. That boat has sailed, buddy.
Props: Rap-Up
Bonus: This is the song I Twittered about earlier. B Dot told me this is B More club classic that he’s rhymin’ over, I just think of Angela Yee, DJ Wonder, and The Emoticon. “Wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up…

After their set, Busta christens Jada with a new name: “The Hitman”
Busta: Jadakiss is what Joe Pesci was for Rob De Niro in Goodfellas. Jadakiss is what Wayne Perry was for Alpo, nigga
Jadakiss: That’s huge right there Bus!
Jadakiss is what Pappy Mason used to be for Supreme!
That’s crazy!
Guy in the back: What he know about that?!
After the Jump, Busta, Spliff and Jada The Hitman, perform “Conglomerate (Remix)”
[…] With the advent of drill music, gang life is omnipresent in the current hip-hop/rap landscape. Yet, The Game's depiction of that life in his 2011 song "Red Nation" saw quick banning. In response, The Game hoped more of his songs were banned from radio because they did so well on the internet. […]
