Cam’ron Deads Dip Set Reunion Talk

[vodpod id=ExternalVideo.891873&w=425&h=350&fv=]

Cam blesses Now Wut with the exclusive. He makes it crystal clear he’s not patchin’ it up with Jimmy and Juelz.

Dre from Nah Right got his transcribe on:

“Look, I hear the DJs, I hear the fans, I hear everybody. I’m not doing a Diplomats album. I’m not rhyming with Jim or Juelz or nothing. I wish them all the best of luck. Accept it people. The people don’t wanna seem to accept it. I don’t have time to do that, it’s not happening, I’m not doing it. That’s why I called you [NowWutTV] here, cuz I know you’ll get it across the world. And hopefully the people will get it in their head. Cam is doing Cam. I’m not doing no Diplomat Immunity 3 album. I hope they’ll do it and I wish them luck. Stop dreaming. Stop hoping. Stop wishing. Stop imagining. I’m not doing it. Official. What’s today’s date? Thursday, March 26th, 2009: Cameron Giles, aka Spacely Sprockets aka Jaffe Joe aka Killa Cam aka KFC, whatever you wanna call me, I am not doing no Diplomat 3 album. That’s it.”

Guess if Jim Jones actually shows up on Angie Martinez’s show today it could get really interesting. Really fast. Maybe Miss Info can stick around the studio just so we can be ensured of some classic radio.

The Dip Set saga continues.

Note: I can’t just embed vids like the rest of you kids. So WSHH gets the look for now.

50 Cent’s Twitter Ghostwriter Comes Clean
Broadway RapRadar.com

The New York Times continues their 50 mania coverage. In an article yesterday on big stars who don’t actually do their own tweets. Broadway, the founder of ThisIs50.com gets his shine on:

“My ambition leads me through a tunnel that never ends.”

Those were 50 Cent’s words, but it was not exactly him tweeting. Rather, it was Chris Romero, known as Broadway, the director of the rapper’s Web empire, who typed in those words after reading them in an interview.

“He doesn’t actually use Twitter,” Mr. Romero said of 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson III, “but the energy of it is all him.”

Ha! B.Dot captures my energy when I’m too lazy to open up my laptop.

T.I. Sentencing Tomorrow
T.I. AJC RapRadar.com

Tomorrow is a big day in the life of one Clifford Harris. A year after pleading guilty on federal weapons charges, T.I. is supposed to get his year and a day sentence. According to an article in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the extra day has great significance.

“The extra day means T.I. can carve 15 percent off of his sentence with good behavior. Under U.S. Bureau of Prison rules, inmates can earn such credit only if they are sentenced to longer than a year in prison. T.I. should serve an estimated 298 days — or a little less than 10 months. He is expected to get credit for the two weeks he sat in jail after his arrest and before posting a $3 million bond.”

10 months? I can hear the haters runnin’ their traps and yappin’ away. Ha!

And of course, the MTV cameras will be rollin’ to capture all the craziness. Shit, get some rest, shawty.

RR Listening: Jadakiss “The Last Kiss”

 jadakiss-rapradar.com

Reported live from the house Russell and Rick built:

1. “Pain & Torture”

When it comes to producers, Buckwild’s a name you can trust. And on this booming track, Jada talks greasier than a can of WD-40.

2. “Can’t Stop Me” Featuring Ayannna Irish

Not even the Ashford and Simpson-penned sample (Ross!) could get this track high enough on the charts.

3. “Who’s Real” Featuring Swizz Beatz and OJ Da Juiceman

Putting Jada and OJ on the same track is like mixing vodka and milk. Yuck.

4. “Grind Hard” Featuring Mary J Blige

It’s a 914 thing. The track has an electro bounce to it and meshes well with Mary’s vocals.

5. “Something Else” Featuring Young Jeezy

Dark and moody guitar strings back Jason and Jay. But honestly, it’s better suited for the Snowman with lines like: “See these blood diamonds, my chain African.” Yep, ignorance is bliss and I’m cheesing from ear to ear.

Late Pass: Slaughterhouse “Move On” Video

There’s a lot of hype behind this gathering of pure MC’s. A lot of hype. But if they can consistently come with this type of flavor I’m gonna have to grab my seat on the bandwagon. I like this one. I like this one a lot. And I waited a day to make sure that I was sure. Ha!

“This shit is for ballers only.”

DJ Smallz shows off some samples from Rick Ross’ new Luxury Tax clothing line.

Um… I’ll pass. Looks like some cheap-ass T-Shirts to me.
