According to The Hollywood Reporter, VH1 plans on bringing their Behind The Music series back with Lil Wayne as one of the artists profiled. It’s almost surreal that this is the guy everyone has a hard-on for these days. SMH.

God. Damn. Rhymefest recently sat down with blog roll occupant, Karen Civil and ripped Dukie Hamilton a new one.
“This is hip-hop. This ain’t for bitch niggas. This ain’t for bitch bitches. This ain’t for pussies. This is hip-hop. If you say something about somebody or to a muthafucka, be ready to respond.”
“I am a man. I’m a not a little cutesy muthafucka with smedium sweaters. I’m not a hipster. I’m fuckin’ hip-hop. I am hip-hop. I am Wu-Tang, I am Chuck D, I am LL Cool J. I’m El Che. I am Rhymefest. I am not, the guy that sells headphones at the Mac store. That is not me.”

In the April issue of U.K.-based magazine, Mixmag, Sean talks about going outside his element experimenting with new wave sounds for his upcoming album, Last Train To Paris. Here’s an excerpt of the interview.

At this point, it seems like this warrants its own headline. Here is DJ Eleven’s ode to DJ Manny Fre-Fre-Eee-Fresh with 50 Minutes of Fresh. Do yourself a favor and download the damn thing. And by the way, Mannie Fresh > J Dilla. (R.I.P., of course)

Rolling Stone reports that gangsta rapper Kanye West was charged with three misdemeanors following his attack on the paparazzi last September. He’s due back in court April 14 for arraignment. Though he’s bound to get a slap on the wrist, the thought of Kanye going to the bing makes me chuckle. You don’t want to know what they do to guys that wear pink in there. Ha!
Here’s another treat from the Shade 45 airwaves: Last Tuesday, Just Blaze played some brief but spectacular snippets from the above marathon Baseline studio session. Jay Electronica also shot some video from that night that I’ve been trying to get my hands on since our launch. In the meantime, this better hold ya over.
No Clifford here. But my other rap buddy named Jay sounds great and when was the last time you heard Mos flow this well. I guarantee whatever Just got is 10 x doper than any bullshit Pretty Flaco album on the way. Some artists need guidance!

Tyler really snapped with Call Me If You Get Lost: The Estate Sale! Every track feels like a personal Skup of emotions and raw vibes. The production is top-tier, and the added songs are pure gold. Definitely a must-listen for fans who appreciate lyrical depth and sonic experimentation.
