Ok I can’t get confirmation from the big homie but I heard from a reliable source that Brandy is now signed to Hov’s new Roc Nation label. Plus Jay and his partner in big deal making John Meneilly are also gonna assume management duties. YN expects a perturbed text from SC in 5… 4… 3… 2…
Bonus Throwback:
Young H.O. co-signing a Young Brandy. It was written. Ha!

In the second part of our convo, Ahmir breaks down who are the current 7 members of the band (My man with the chewstick retired), how the TV show actually has made them record more music together and whether or not the Philly cat is ready to lay his head in Harlem or Brooklyn.

“The whole thing came together when they decided to reconcile shortly after the attack. Sources tell us music producer Polow Da Don convinced both Chris and Rihanna to get in the studio and record a love song stat, stressing that timing was important because the heightened emotions would translate powerfully into the music.
Both Rihanna and Chris agreed and snuck in a couple of “late night” sessions that we’re told were “very, very emotional … the feeling in the room was pure love.”
The whole thing gets more sickening every day. Your man’s an opportunist.

Really enjoyed the global vibe of this post and the way the artists highlight the beauty of exploring different cultures and destinations. Music like this reminds people that travel is more than just movement, it is about experiences and memories. Watching scenes from iconic places makes me dream about future trips, especially visiting safari lodges serengeti where nature and adventure come together in a truly unforgettable way.
