[vodpod id=Video.5004037&w=425&h=350&fv=] Weezy and Wiz weren’t the only performers three nights ago during Khaled’s birthday bash at King Of Diamonds. SpiffTV comes through with Rozay and Puff’s performance featuring Blac Chyna doing her tricks on the pole. Lots of T&A. Viewer discretion is unnecessary. Ha! wsu
Before Mr. West made this track one of his G.O.O.D. Friday joints, this beat belonged to Strong Arm Steady. Check out their version below. Sounds G.O.O.D. “This song was supposed to be on Arms & Hammers – until Kanye bought it for a much bigger price and I’m glad for our guy Pete Rock he did, here is our version. Enjoy!” – Strong Arm Steady
Pause. Produced by Travis Barker and The Monsters, here’s a new banger from Big Sean, which serves as the first leak off the DJ Whoo Kid-hosted mixtape, Let The Drummer Get Wicked Vol. 1. Sounds wicked. radioplanet
Is this is the end? Yes indeed is. Dips finished the three hour showathon in style. One Just Blaze classic and their latest heatrock. Thank you very much for coming out. Good night. God Bless!
Clearly the best moment of the whole show was the salute to the late Huddy Combs. Cam and a choir? Eric Clapton? Just watch.
Apparently a fuckin’ fight broke out during the crew’s performance of “Oh Boy”. Cam’s commentary is hilarious. Oh well, the show must go on. Right, squallie? Ha!
You knew Killa was gonna bring out his latest protege during his turn. Vado and his mentor run through “Well All Up In Here” and “Speakin’ Tongues”. And yes, Johnny Nunez was there to shoot the whole thing. Slime Time!
During Elz’s set he brought his nephew Ja out to recreate “S.A.N.T.A.N.A.” and later the little tyke even taught his uncle how to dougie. The Dips love the kids!
After opening the show as a group, each individual member of the Dips got to do their individual sets. During the Capo’s one, he brought Black Rob to the stage. Tunnel Time! That’s two Harlem niggas for you. Bonus below: Ryan Leslie and his guitar. Ha!
Of course I had to make my way down to NY’s Hammerstein Ballroom again. This time to witness three straight hours of Dipset Mania. Like Mikey and Info, I got my record on and I’m gonna post some of my favorite highlights of the wild and crazy night. Here Hell Rell and JR Writer join the Dips for one of my favorite joints from their catalogue. Goonies!
It is so heartbreaking to hear DJ Premier break the news that DJ Kool Herc’s health is ailing, as he is literally the founding father who laid down the blueprint for hip-hop culture. Thinking about how someone who built an entire global phenomenon can end up struggling with medical expenses or failing health really puts things into perspective regarding healthcare challenges. When you look at how people navigate health or wellness procedures worldwide—whether someone is researching cosmetic treatments like Liposuction Cyprus or seeking urgent medical care—it underscores how essential access to reliable medical help and proper support systems really is. Kool Herc gave us the breaks, the block parties, and the entire movement that shaped generations of music lovers, so seeing the community step up to show love while DJ Premier brings awareness to his condition is the very least we can do. Sending strength and prayers to Kool Herc for a full recovery, and massive respect to DJ Premier for using his platform to make sure a true pioneer gets the support and respect he deserves.
