Karen Civil‘s on it and got a hold of some new music from Fayetteville’s finest. No word as to where this is from, but maybe it’ll end up on his upcoming mixtape. That is, if it ever comes out.
Move over Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd. Moonie and Count trade places in the latest video in support of Don’t Feed The Killaz Vol. 3. Visually, Creative Control outdid themselves with this clip. Motion picture, shit for real.
When Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being was released digitally on September 27th, it debuted at number two on the Charts and a week later, dropped to number 16. But since its retail release last Tuesday, Weezy grabs Billboard’s spot this week after moving 125K copies. Even in Rikers, Dwayne’s out of this world. ew
Sometimes if you want something done right, you got to do it yourself. CyHi tells Rap-Up how he sneaked his way to lay his verse down for “So Appalled”. G.O.O.D. move. “I wasn’t supposed to be on ‘So Appalled’. People don’t know that. I kinda cheated. [Kanye] said, ‘Can you think of something to write on the hook?’ I peeped he was kinda sleepy at the time. So he went to sleep, went to the room or something. I stayed in the […]

It is so heartbreaking to hear DJ Premier break the news that DJ Kool Herc’s health is ailing, as he is literally the founding father who laid down the blueprint for hip-hop culture. Thinking about how someone who built an entire global phenomenon can end up struggling with medical expenses or failing health really puts things into perspective regarding healthcare challenges. When you look at how people navigate health or wellness procedures worldwide—whether someone is researching cosmetic treatments like Liposuction Cyprus or seeking urgent medical care—it underscores how essential access to reliable medical help and proper support systems really is. Kool Herc gave us the breaks, the block parties, and the entire movement that shaped generations of music lovers, so seeing the community step up to show love while DJ Premier brings awareness to his condition is the very least we can do. Sending strength and prayers to Kool Herc for a full recovery, and massive respect to DJ Premier for using his platform to make sure a true pioneer gets the support and respect he deserves.
