Koopa’s version was featured on his Mixtape Messiah 7, but what just surfaced is a totally different version with the same hook. Off Z-Ro’s Heroin, which drops June 21st. King Kong ain’t got shit on this one. nav
As it was previously reported, Jim Jonsin revealed this was initially meant for Lupe. Well here’s how it would’ve sounded. This sounds like a demo, but it ain’t got nothin on Bobby Ray’s version. yk2
Ignore the outfit. Ms. Hill puts on a show. L-Boogie gives us a taste of what we can expect for Rock The Bells with a performance during last weekend’s Harmony Festival 2010 in Santa Rosa, CA. Up top, she does an alternate/rock version of “Doo Wop (That Thing)” and down below she recites her verse off “Fu-Gee-La”. Ooh la la la.

Man, this drop from Masspike Miles is seriously smooth from start to finish. The Road Less Traveled totally delivers on that signature R&B vibe, and the production choices across these tracks are just insane. It honestly feels more complete than a lot of full-length albums out right now. Tracks like "Devoted" with Bun B and the title track hit different when you are just cruising around the city late at night. If you are heading out to grab the physical copy or hitting up a late-night listening session across town, trying to flag down reliable taxi services can sometimes be a real hassle, so planning ahead definitely saves the mood. Overall, this project proves why he is such a vital part of the Maybach crew. Definitely keep this one on repeat for a while.
