Uncle Rush spoke to Rap-Up about his nephew Diggy’s burgeoning career. He applauds him for his honest lyrical content and says his young relative asked for him to say out of his career. Good call. Keep your family and business completely seperated.
From the looks of it, it seems as if Banks is following the same formula: Girls. Car. White backdrop. etc. Nonetheless, here’s a first glimpse from his new motion picture. Previously: Lloyd Banks “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley (Remix)”
So I spent the day with Bun listening to Trill OG and he schooled me on a few things. Does anyone remember this session? Well that night, Drizzy and Bun knocked out three joints: “Put It Down,” which he debuts for me in the above clip; “It’s Been A Pleasure“, which is actually a Bun song with Drake on the hook (No Jeezy) and “All Night Long”. In the bottom clip, Bun explains how the latter turned into “Miss Me”. […]

The Harlem MC explains why he relocated to Atlanta for his upcoming projects. “We got a bunch of stuff going on,” Cam explained recently. “I got my solo album to do. We got ‘Killa Season 2’ soundtrack. ‘Cousin Bang, the Movie’ soundtrack. To keep it 100, down South, they got a lot of hot beats with no samples. We’re trying to just get a different vibe. I did four […]
Yesterday morning, Suge Knight was arrested for assault with a firearm and driving with a suspended license. Earlier today, his lawyer Marc Brumer spoke with CNN on his client’s behalf. “He’s innocent, 100 percent. Suge Knight is a businessman. He is not a person who would carry a gun or flash a gun at anybody. That’s not Suge Knight. There was never a gun found. He was very cooperative, answered all the questions police had, and we just feel that he shouldn’t […]
It is so heartbreaking to hear DJ Premier break the news that DJ Kool Herc’s health is ailing, as he is literally the founding father who laid down the blueprint for hip-hop culture. Thinking about how someone who built an entire global phenomenon can end up struggling with medical expenses or failing health really puts things into perspective regarding healthcare challenges. When you look at how people navigate health or wellness procedures worldwide—whether someone is researching cosmetic treatments like Liposuction Cyprus or seeking urgent medical care—it underscores how essential access to reliable medical help and proper support systems really is. Kool Herc gave us the breaks, the block parties, and the entire movement that shaped generations of music lovers, so seeing the community step up to show love while DJ Premier brings awareness to his condition is the very least we can do. Sending strength and prayers to Kool Herc for a full recovery, and massive respect to DJ Premier for using his platform to make sure a true pioneer gets the support and respect he deserves.
