Two nights ago, Amanda Diva filled in for Erykah Badu at the Highline Ballroom as Black Thought recited the lyrics from their Grammy award winning opus, “You Got Me”. Don’t worry bout a thang.

Mr. Scarface confirmed to HHDX that he plans on remaking some tracks from BDP’s classic debut, Criminal Minded. Get blinded again. I need to ask you about something a little birdie told me recently: is it true that Scarface is remaking Boogie Down Production’s classic Criminal Minded album? Scarface: Not the whole album, but I’m making some [of it]… So [you’re saying] just a few songs [from the album]…? Scarface: I’m thinking so. Um…I haven’t really came to the conclusion […]
[sparkart-clique site=”rap_radar” video=”the_dream1″] Before the close of Dream’s set last night at the Highline Ballroom, he premiered two new songs from his upcoming album, Love King. The first is “Sex Intelligent” which will feature a verse from T.I. The second is an unnamed track. But, I surmise it’s entitled “Love Queen”. Drake’s performed Thank Me Later‘s opener a few times already, but last night at Fullman University he let off more fireworks with a recital of the second verse. Thank: ATF via Jeff

He discussed the recording process and issued a warning to anyone slighted by the track’s lyrics. “I’ll just say it like this: If you feel like it was a jab and respond to it, then play with your career if you want to,” Game warned. “I know what to do with anybody and their career. Unless you really know, you should keep […]

[sparkart-clique site=”rap_radar” video=”dreamfab”] The-Dream put on a helluva show last night at the Highline Ballroom. The gig was part of Power 105.1’s concert series and for the first time, he and Fabolous performed “Throw It In The Bag (Remix)”. Nice. Mo’ footage in tow.
It ain’t over just yet. This time the Pyrex King takes a crack at Drizzy’s overused beat. When will it end? Never!
Sorry ladies, but Trey is off the market. With Polow Da Don on the beat, Trey professes to be a one woman man. Pssh, yeah right. Miss Info
It is so heartbreaking to hear DJ Premier break the news that DJ Kool Herc’s health is ailing, as he is literally the founding father who laid down the blueprint for hip-hop culture. Thinking about how someone who built an entire global phenomenon can end up struggling with medical expenses or failing health really puts things into perspective regarding healthcare challenges. When you look at how people navigate health or wellness procedures worldwide—whether someone is researching cosmetic treatments like Liposuction Cyprus or seeking urgent medical care—it underscores how essential access to reliable medical help and proper support systems really is. Kool Herc gave us the breaks, the block parties, and the entire movement that shaped generations of music lovers, so seeing the community step up to show love while DJ Premier brings awareness to his condition is the very least we can do. Sending strength and prayers to Kool Herc for a full recovery, and massive respect to DJ Premier for using his platform to make sure a true pioneer gets the support and respect he deserves.
