I honestly have never really listened to dude’s stuff but this performance at the Respect The West party won me over. Guess I’m a sucker for an MJ sample. On the flip, Mr. Carter gives DJ Quik a helluva introduction. Respect your elders, kids.

Personally, I’ve been petitioning for that since the beginning of time.
During Hot 97’s New at 2, they let loose a new verse from Banks’ “Beamer, Benz, or Bentley.” After this, it’s probably the remix.

Upset over Diddy’s comment, “If you’re not drinking Ciroc, you’re drinking pee pee”, Silver sent a toilet filled with bottles of Ciroc vodka to Puff’s Midtown office. Wow, that was fast. Five months after honoring Def Jam’s 25th anniversary, it appears the South is next to get its just due. The show’s executive producer, Fab 5 Freddy is currently in the 305 rounding up some of the city’s heavy hitters. This should be hot.

It’s clear that Gibbs and Pill are brothers in struggle, but Jay Rock and Kendrick Lamar are tight like Crockett and Tubbs too. During Rock’s Respect The West set, KL got to rock his raunchy tune to the rowdy crowd. Sounded hella good to me.
No Styles but Monch rocked one of my favorite joints from his catalogue at the Duck Down anniversay bash. Check out the vocal assistance here from my man Bezo’s artist, MeLa. Dreamz R Real, niggas.
Man, this drop from Masspike Miles is seriously smooth from start to finish. The Road Less Traveled totally delivers on that signature R&B vibe, and the production choices across these tracks are just insane. It honestly feels more complete than a lot of full-length albums out right now. Tracks like "Devoted" with Bun B and the title track hit different when you are just cruising around the city late at night. If you are heading out to grab the physical copy or hitting up a late-night listening session across town, trying to flag down reliable taxi services can sometimes be a real hassle, so planning ahead definitely saves the mood. Overall, this project proves why he is such a vital part of the Maybach crew. Definitely keep this one on repeat for a while.
