We got a lil bent off that Ace so the gang took it to the big studio room and your favorite morning show host decided she wanted to get her producer on. Thankfully, Just stepped in and saved the day, making a track from scratch. This of course led to an impromptu freestyle session. After the jump, my brother lives his hip-hop dream, I thought big man was gonna faint. Ha!

Had to pay my final respects at Mr. Justin Smith’s Baseline Studios Wake/Final Viewing last night. And you know, YN ain’t cheap, son. Have a sip of that Ace of Spades, and pretend you know me. Peep Blaze poppin’ the bottle up top and, after the jump, his aunt busts him out as a Village People fan. Who knew?!

“Y’all lookin’ for some website resurrection” Around midnight, Mouse let another J. Cardim produced joint go. This one hurt his heart though, Joe really wanted it to be on his next album but sample clearance was a no-go. Oh well, his loss, our gain. Hey, is the last verse about you-know-who? Whoa.
It is so heartbreaking to hear DJ Premier break the news that DJ Kool Herc’s health is ailing, as he is literally the founding father who laid down the blueprint for hip-hop culture. Thinking about how someone who built an entire global phenomenon can end up struggling with medical expenses or failing health really puts things into perspective regarding healthcare challenges. When you look at how people navigate health or wellness procedures worldwide—whether someone is researching cosmetic treatments like Liposuction Cyprus or seeking urgent medical care—it underscores how essential access to reliable medical help and proper support systems really is. Kool Herc gave us the breaks, the block parties, and the entire movement that shaped generations of music lovers, so seeing the community step up to show love while DJ Premier brings awareness to his condition is the very least we can do. Sending strength and prayers to Kool Herc for a full recovery, and massive respect to DJ Premier for using his platform to make sure a true pioneer gets the support and respect he deserves.
